KEVIN HAMILTON

Kevin John Hamilton was born on March 4,1963 in Washington D.C. to the late Bertha & Claude Hamilton. Kevin was six of seven children. Kevin was formerly educated in the D.C. Public School system. Kevin accepted Christ as his savior at an early age. Kevin was fun, loving, and possessed a charming presence. He enjoyed hanging out with his brothers “Them Hamilton Boys” in the Garfield area. Kevin was a strong independent man and not afraid to speak his mind! Kevin had an incredible ability to find joy in the simplest things and never hesitated to spread that joy to others. His resilience in the face of challenges was truly inspiring teaching us all the value of perseverance and optimism. Kevin also had a tremendous love for sports, shooting pool, playing cards and let’s not forget a ladies’ man (LOL)! Kevin’s life was reared by love, good times and fun. He had a laugh that would brighten up any room. He was a devoted son, loving brother, caring uncle and a loyal friend. His radiant smile and positive energy left a lasting impact on everyone he met. Though Kevin’s time with us was cut short, the impact he made will last forever. His legacy will live on in the countless lives he touched and the memories we hold dear to our hearts. We will miss you tremendously Kevin, but we are grateful for the time we all had together. Your spirit will guide us forever until we all meet again. Kevin was proceeded in death by his mother and father Bertha and Claude Hamilton, brother -Timothy Hamilton, grandmother- Elizabeth Tibbs, grandfather-Claude Sr, nephews-Timothy (Lil Tim) Hamilton and Michael (Mike-Mike) Nelson and great nephew Raquell Gillespie. Kevin leaves to cherish his memory two sisters- Quindora Upson, Sharel “Pedy” Hamilton (George), three brothers–Kenneth Hamilton (Linda), Michael Hamilton (Angie), Ricardo Hamilton (Tacelia), two uncles Frederick Tibbs and Tyrone Baskerville, five nieces- Kenyell, Demaris, Lakia, Laquishia (Tony) and Missy, seven nephews- Mussie, Damien, Tim, Ken-Ken, Rick (Deana), Tyrone (Sharayah) and Tre. A host of great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.
